Dimension3D and others have commercial products designed to edit Poser files. A simple free text editor than can handle Poser files easily is EditPad Lite for PC.

Quote - Notepad works in a pinch.

Wordpad is a better choice as it copes better with non-windows line endings.

I prefer CR2Builder by kim99. Free download, and a nice tree-oriented structure. The latest version has support for INJ/REM pose generation.

The pen is mightier than the sword. But if you literally want to have some impact, use a typewriter

Notepad ++ is pretty good, and it's free!

The advantage of EditPad Lite is it can open 40Mb or even much larger .cr2s in an instant but still saves default as pure .txt without any hidden formating garbage, it has terrific search/replace and it can hold many documents at once on different tabs. If you upgrade to premium you get spellcheck.

I'll have to look up CR2Builder, sounds cool.
