How do I get the HUMVEE to over the object instead of through it, or inter act with the terrain as well. I am using  Carrara Pro 7

Hmmm.  I don't do much animation but I would think putting in some key frames as the wheel just touches the log, then olace your rotational hotpoint on the back axle so you can rotate the vehicle while keeping the rear wheel on the ground, then another hot point when it is rotated and lace it so the front wheels roll up to the top of the log.  Then reverse the procedure for the downward roll and do the entire sequence again for the back wheel.  If Anyone thinks this is wrong let me know.  I haven't tried anything but simple aircraft flybys up until now.

These free plugins from Jeremy for C7 Version should be available in a few weeks.

Worthwhile adding to your arsenal.

This is actually a fairly complex request. Getting the Humvee to go over the object like a toy car is pretty easy to do. However, if you want suspension compression/extension and realistic bouncing of the vehicle coupled with acceleration and deceleration, you'll need to hand animate that. Plug-ins like DCG's Cognito can help. I don't know that the Sparrowhawk plugs are a good fit for this assignment since wheels won't be in contact with smooth ground.

Animating is not fast business. :-P

Lol Be patient.  Every time I try anything more than a simple flyby, my machines freezes.  Eegads.  It makes you wonder what the professional animation companies use for hardware nowadays.  Anyone have a used Cray?

You have a place large enough for a Cray? :)

Sparrow-- I don't have a Cray, but my Uniblab's been getting a little fresh with Rosie the maid lately, so I'm looking to upgrade pretty darn soon!  ;)

Rig the car to give it a suspension first.  Use physics only at the end of your animated stunt.  Give it a slight direction force.  Too much will send it tumbling.
