For users of Dogwaffle, here's a new free plugin: ArrayToAnimation_pm.exe  is a 'plugin miscellaneous' (pm) category plugin which looks at your current image as an array of images (cells) and converts the set into an animation image sequence. You can then view it as such (play the animation), convert back to spritesheet in several ways (from stored original or with free DoggyFX plugin set), export as image sequence, save as AVI etc.... and of course apply lots of postFX filters across the timeline.
