I got a site mail a few weeks ago - ( the New Mail was flashing next to the Site Mail link in the member links section of the side column of the forum pages ) - I clicked, read the mail, responded, deleted.  All done.  The problem is, the New Mail has been flashing ever since.  I click on the Site Mail link to check it every few days, but there's never a new message - always says "Your Inbox is Empty".  Is there some way to fix this? . . . Or is this supposed to be happening?
