Hi

I decided to buy a new laptop/notebook over the festive period sales and decided to dedicate it solely for producing my Daz Studio images. Spent hours transferring my content files from my external drive onto the new internal hard drive in the hope this would increase data access speeds. When I went to use the Daz software on the new laptop I found that the image was "freezing" on the screen especially after I performed a test render to active viewport, and although the image was being "moved" around the screen I wasn't able to see it even though I had "clicked" and had the camera controls restored to the viewport.  I also noted that the "desktop" tends to dominate the viewport. There seems to be some sort of "refresh" issue, everything else appears to be working fine. The old laptop ran on XP and the new laptop runs on Vista.

I have looked at the support on the Daz site but all they suggest is an issue with OpenGL and graphics card drivers. I have looked at these and they appear to be in order, but I may be incorrect in my assumption. Has anyone esle experienced these problems and did they manage to reslove them? Can anyone offer assistance (advice or links) before I start to transfer my content back to the external hard drive and use my slower but more reliable old XP laptop?

Lesson learned: Test software works on new system before moving content files :(

Thanks
