Not sure why but my copy of Carrara 7 isn't picking up ANY of the DAZ content. I have tons of it!

Did you point to your runtime folder in the content tab of the browser window?

My appologys for being so silly. I sort of assumed that since they reside in the same directory structure and Carrara is supposed to handle DAZ content that DAZ would have it do an automatic add for DAZ content.
Note to self, never, ever assume even the most logical of things!

LOL. That functionality has been in the software for a while. It was originally primarily designed for Poser content in general, not just Daz content. They just never bothered to have it autosearch.

In my defence it's actually one of a few programs that don't at least ask if you want an autosearch for content.
Can you repose characters within Carrara or are you better off setting up the figure elements within DAZ?

No, yo9u can use Carrara to do pretty much anything you used to do in Daz but with a lot more flexibility and in a much better interface. I haven't touched poser or Saz since I got C6 Pro.
