Hi! I was wondering if anyone knows of any clothing from the 1700's for V3. You know, sorta like the Marie Antoinette gown for v4. I found one from Neftis but it was discontinued sometime ago. Just need like a ballroom gown. It disappoints me how they never made much period clothing for V3! lol
My other solution was to make a baroque gown out of the MFD with transmaps and such. Do you think this is possible?
Thanks!

Sorry, off the top of my head I'm not sure if tDAZ's 18th century models are the right style, are they? They have a few of them.

Hi!
Hm, I don't think so. I've looked through most of DAZ's stuff, but, I'd be interested in knowing what you have, just in case.

Try Runtimedna.com. They did have a few items based on that time circa.

check Poserwold, they might have something that you could use.

Maybe this will help a bit: http://www.whatever3d.com/search.ez?q=ballrom%20gown&page=1
I haven't looked through all the search results - there's a lot of them :)

there was a site out there that specialized in dresses from that Age, Poser Fashion? was that it?
It's a stretch, but you could use some stuff for Lassie of the Seas...I've seen it 'sort of' work with V3 (although it was really V4)

hi!
yeah, I have already done a search for "ballroom gowns", hence why I know an old v3 1700s dress was made. But, you are right! currently all 18th century "Marie Antoionette-type" dresses are for v4. I know they made a model for a3 as well but I doubt that could fit v3. And I realize I may have to give in and use v4 but the character I made was V3.
Hmm, but I will look into your guys' suggestions. Any other ideas perhaps? Maybe a little ingenuity I could make something? Now, mind you I don't how to make a dress. I'm not a modeler but, I thought maybe I could work with an existing one and figure out how to make a transmap for it.
Thanks all!

Try this site. The clothing is dynamic though. There are tutorials at the site on how to use the clothing in the cloth room.

I think you can still get Neftis' gown from her site, neftis3d
maki_82 posted Thu, 08 January 2009 at 10:08 PM
Nope, Neftis doesn't have much on her site, it seems. Checked poserfashion. Close but no cigar, also, I don't think DAZ can use dynamic cloth.
*Sigh oh well! Guess I try something else.
Thanks
