Does that mean that if you use rendercows, you can't expect poser figures to render correctly? If so I am not very happy about that turn of events.

If Poser shaders did work with Render Cows, you'd need a legal copy of Poser installed on every single cow node! SkinVue would be a lot cheaper. Or read Silverblades' Poser import tutorial. If the resulting work is too much, write a Poser script, share it with us all, and become a hero :-)

I bought SkinVue7 but haven't installed it yet, if that solves the issue I'm ok with that, somewhat. But render farms were a big reason to move my animations out of Poser7 and into vue, SkinVue will fix skin issues, but what else will I loose?

Only the Poser shader tree, unless my memory fails me...
