I can find Spining wheels in abundance but no Drop Spindles, I am working on a three Fates or Norns pic as you like it and need this particular item. anybody seen one or done one for poser??

I made one if you want it,
Its an obj file for import , and uv mapped  with material groups for shaft, disc, thread-spool and thread. That lets you make any part invisible.

heres a little pic
[ i dont know why embedded pics arent working ]

or click HERE

drop me a site mail with an email where I can send it.

Well, it looks like you're going to be up to your eyeballs in spindles today. :)

I'll have these UV'd in a few minutes.

I've never really seen any up close so I just looked around a bit and then went off your original drawing. :)

Sorry for the delay.  Hex crashed while saving and lost my UVMaps and corrupted my latest save file.  So, I had to redo most of it. :(

Anyway, here you go: http://www.2shared.com/file/4733021/d286aca6/Spindles.html

UVMapped, no textures, normals stripped for Poser.  You'll need to scale them to suite your needs.  The threads and spindles materials for both spindles have separate maps.  Mtl files included just for some random color.  Free for personal and commercial renders, not to be sold or redistributed in whole or in part, etc...

PS - If you need textures, let me know.  Or, check out Hobobo's section on ShareCG.com for some good wood and thread/rope textures.  That's where I'd end up going anyway for a quick fix.
