Is 3DCommune dead? Nothing has change in the store in over a month.

I know they were migrating to a new store, but it sure looks like they died mid-migration.

Not dead yet. The migration has been very slow, but they are
apparently close to getting it done.

I looked for both papa sage and mama sage there yesterday for trekkiegirl, and couldn't either. Could be they are the first poserverse casualty of the baqd global economy.

I just read that Iceland's goverment has actually collapsed. Scary times we live in!

As far as I can tell 3dcommune is up and running. I know part of the reason what is going on with the new site. You know the old saying fix one thing and break another?

AFAICT, they locked the 3DC store for updates in preparation for a move during late December, and then ran into some (unspecified) problems which stopped them from migrating before the Christmas/New Year holiday period.

It would appear (from forum posts) that they're going to attempt it this month.

they're still putting images in the galleries...tho not as many as they used to...

FK Designs releasing here? I must check, I do like the hair figures. I have a couple and they are well done.

3DC is still going strong. Everybody is just waiting for the move and not posting as much.
They are all working hard to make sure the transition to the new server goes well. It's better to be ready instead of hurrying things and having all kinds of glitches and problems.
I just purchased items from FK Designs at 3DC last week.

I didn't say her store was closed there. I asked if she was moving here, all of her newer item seem to be released here - Fabiana's Store, but I guess if the store (3DC) is closed to new products, that may be why.

There are some items I would like to buy, but with the current security setup
(passwords shown in clear text in your profile), I was reluctant to enter my CC there.

Any purchases you make are through a secure system. There is no security problem there.

I hope they finally fix that majorly irritating issue of the popups resizing the browser window. That is one reason I don't bother shopping there unless I have too, it is so damn irritating.

go into the account options at the right hand side under Member Options and change from yes to no for the popups :)

Resize Store Pop-up Select if you want the "more info" pop-up window for a product to resize to the width and height of the image.

Thanks for the info about the resizing, Bea! I didn't know it could be changed, and simply resized each time (yes, Anniebel! Very irritating!).

I can say this about the new site, it is allot easier to get around in and the site has a "fresh" new look. As a vendor there I am waiting like the rest of you.

should you have any further difficulty creating an account at 3dc please contact me here via sitemail.
as im sure you are aware a great deal of effort by many poeple is reqiured to effect such a site changeover.
