Subject: Can I ask about making arch?

Hi.
I'm just beginer.
I read manual of vue 7.
And page 502 of manual.

I don't know how can make it.
I did like it.
But result is like below.

Can you let me know how can I make it like arch?

Just did this very very quickly , hope it helps . . . Paint as pictured, clip terrain by moving bottom slider towards the right, go to terrain options, make it symetrical, voila!!!

Can you tell me more detaily?
"Paint as pictured" I know untill this word.
But, I don't know next...
