Hi all!
I'm old to 3D but new-ish to blender. I just posted my latest work to the Blender gallery here on R'osity.
I have a question, though. I want to put some trees way in the background of of a picture. I have always done this in other programs by putting them on a plane with an alpha. I have also used this for flags, clouds etc.
For some reason I can't get this to work in Blender. Can anybody either walk me through it or point me to a recent tutorial? I would really appreciate it.
Tony

Yep, Scott is good at that, he produces some of the more well written Blender tutorials.
