Greetings All !!!!!!!!!!!

Viper somersaulting
In December I requested input on purchasing Poser 6. Rec'd from many and Thank you.
After my purchase I wrote to say I was having MAJOR problems with loading my P6. Grinning.
I almost asked for a letter of destruction, but due to a heavy schedule I missed the date for full refund. At the time I was having INCREDIBLE problems with my PC. I had caught a severe virus from those rat bastards over at adserving. Reeked havoc on my PC. I did a destructive system restore, which fixed everything. Cleaned up my system, got a great security package and got some memory. Well, I re-downloaded my P6 AND IT INSTALLED FINE!!!!!!!!!! I am so excited I could....., well I don't know, smile  I am just beside myself.  Here's my next question: I don't need or want a lot of the stuff that came with P6, because I saved ALL my purchased content, including my V3 and head and body  morphs, my Milli Horse bundle and all my AerySoul content.  Is there a way to uninstall these items from my P6.  I am anxious to load my precious content, can anyone help? Thank you, Thank you, Thank You.

Please spay and neuter your pets. Strongly consider shelter adoption before spending $500 to $1000. If you MUST part with that kind of money for a pet, go to your local shelter, donate the money to them and pickup a highly adoptable pet. The shelters could sure use the donation.

Congratulations on getting it all sorted, what a relief that only another 3D nut would understand..lol..
As for the content, i deleted everything that came with P6 and 7 in the runtimes except for the primatives, null thingy and a couple of other things that are essential but the rest went out the door including the characters except James only because he's needed..

I too junked most of what came with P6 & 7, the easiest way to get rid is simply to delete the relevant items from Runtime>Geometries, Textures and Library folders, most of it should be obvious in those locations, if you're not sure, load the items in Poser then on the main tool bar, click Windows> Python Scripts> Utility Funcs> create scene inventory. In the pop-up that appears, select> list
This will give you a list of whats loaded and locations, copy this to a notepad or print, close Poser and then start deleting. You might miss a few items here and there, but taking out Geom's, Tex and Characters will get rid of the bulk of space wasters.

Don.t be too quick to delete what is there, as there are some neat things.  P4 and P5 figures are handy as background figures.  Play around a bit first-hard drive space is dirt cheap there days.

I have installed my purchased goodies into external runtimes, as it is easier for me to keep track of what goes with what.

Have Fun!

Wandw has a point, I threw mine out as far as a back-up disc in Runtime format for easy re-installs if i need anything dfrom them, though it's probably been a year since I did even though Poser is running virtually 24/7
