Has anyone else had this happen; when I bring a terrain too close to the camera (where they touch), they stick together and move as one?....a very odd little bug....just wondering....

You really need to come to this forum more often... :-) That has been asked at least 200 times. :-)

That's a new Vue7 feature, which is on by default (the camera is locked so that it can't be lower than a certain height from the ground below). Select the camera and in its properties, uncheck the "Height" button.

I figured it had been discussed before, but when I tried to find a post discussing I couldn't....I figured there was some reason for it....hehe.....thanks again.....

Since we have to do this every single time we start a new scene, it would have been nice to have this feature configurable. I personally hate having the camera move around all the time.

If you uncheck it once and go to File->Options->General preferences->Set default scene, it will stay unchecked every time you open Vue.

Hmm just trying to do this, and I can't even find the height option on the camera. How do you locate it?

Select camera, go to object properties panel. Not surprisingly, there's "Height" written on the left of the checkbox... 😄

You mean right click edit properties of the camera? I don't see it there at all. The higher main camera panel (motion, track, ect) also does not have it either.

Too many damned options to edit the same thing.

Object properties panel, aspect tab, with main camera selected. You do know what's the object properties panel, don't you? 😄

Ah.. I was looking for a checkbox, not a highlighted lock.. thanks much!

That's a checkbox, it just has a different symbol. There are lots of different symbols for checkboxes. Just in that image, you have another one, further up, the one for the "always keep level". It's a checkbox with another symbol.
