my questions about the movie... 1. how to make explosion effects like in the middle and end of the movie?
i know they have used afterburn in most scenes but i want to do it in vue completely from scrap

I'd recommned using Particle Illusion and doing it in post work!
Much quicker to do
otherwise..
glows, well I have a freebie item on Cornucopia3D, for scifi but it's engien glows for spacecraft
you cna use volumetrics for smoke.
explosions are trickier, see Monsoons fire and epxlosion package for Vue on 3D Commune.
the video probably was a composite with another package like Lightwave, for the particle/explosion effects I'd guess? :)

You are definately talking about 3rd party programs like Adobe After Effects and, like Silverblade said, Particle Illusion. It's gonna cost you money and time to master, but both will give you very good results.
