Please can someone tell me, what we are doing wrong:
We have created some Objects, loaded them in Vue 7complete and saved them as vob-files! Then we had sent them to someone to test them out, and he got the message, that the vob-file is nodelocked and Vue 7 loaded a dummie instead! What we are doing wrong!
Any tips and help is welcome

What edition of Vue is trying to read the files ?

They can't be opened by the trial version of Pioneer. Also, they won't open if you used any textures from other 'locked' objects.

The version of the other person is Vue 7 Xstream and we haven´t used any material that was bought from others, only the materials Vue 7 complete comes with and materials we have created by ourself. So we do not understand why there is a nodelocked-warning!

Several questions in my mind :
Have you used only simple primitives to make these vob file (as cube , sphere etc )?
Have you used a plant - the plants may be locked to your licence ?
Have you used objects bought from Cornucopia ?
Have you checked "include texture maps ?" when saving as a vob ?

Yes, we have checked include texture-maps, just to keep it simple for the users and we have welded our obj.! Strange thing! Eon have proved our files, and said every things worked fine for them!

FWIW, I was having similar problems with .vob files saved out of Vue 7 Infinite. While I was saving out original meshes and textures, users were telling me they were unreadable and/or locked on their end in both Vue 6 & 7. I exported the same models from Vue 6 Infinite and had no problems from the same set of users... needless to say I now only save models out from Vue 6

We have sent our files to Eon, now they work! Strange enough, but I think it is a good thing to contact their support-team! The only explanation I have for this is, that it is a bug that needs to be fixed! We have also explored, that vobs that were created with textures and UV-Maps looks okay in Vue 6, are unusable in Vue 7 because of a out of alignment beeing map!
I think, it is time for a bugfix.
