Hi all,
I have recently installed phtoshop CS4 as i wanted to try it ... any document I open has discolourment and array of lines on it. I have windows vista and ATI Raedon HD 2400 with 128 mb. I have also installed new drivers from AMD just to be sure with no results. I have attached few screenshots of my settings and how things are looking in psp. Pls help. I am stuck in bbetween a assignment in this hassle.

this is how a pic opens :

these are the setting in the performance area :

N.B. Also wanted to say that when i installed the new drivers I have installed it at C:ATI ...that was location mentioned.I didnt change it ...has it tobe installed somewhere else ?

Thanks

this is what i did in CS4.

edit/Preferences/Performance in CS4 and Deselect "Enable OpenGL Drawing". It fixed it ... Thanks all.

Well doing that you do lose some of the newer features. I would try going back and ***reselect*** “Enable openGL Drawing”, but under the “Advance Settings”, ***deselect*** everything in that dialog box.

Also you said you updated your drivers, but make sure they are the latest ones (which makes a huge difference with Photoshop).

Attached link is for what “looks to me” like the newest drivers for your graphics.
