Eco painting is perhaps the best, so I'll go with GIll' :)
still wish we could put a picture behind every view to help with painting ("show last render") least we can do it in main view
the new water is sweet.

water always has been slow to render :(
however, it does seem to render faster when it's apllied as a cube not a plane, for pools lakes etc. forgot who discovered that tip :)
hm maybe turning off SHOW CAUSTICS in material, would help provided water is choppy enough to hide lack of caustics?

Well, I have 7complete not infinite, but these features are included in complete too.
The new spectral 2 clouds were promising and are wonderful. A bit slow but well worth it.
Painting in all 4 windows is a pleasure but I couldnt use it properly because of the bug that 'undo' makes the eco disappear. I dont mind re-populating but re-painting is too much. This bug is now supposedly fixed but I have no time to implement and test at the moment - real painting(watercolor) week now.
The new water is disappointing so far - I was looking forwards to choppy/stormy seas but when the camera is close to the water I get weird sharp lines. Quite likely that I havnt learned how to use it well yet.
I'm looking forward to the new features in 7.4 like painting material distributions on terrains.Sky preview with clouds would be nice too but that's only promised for inf :(

I usually use a cube - but the new 'water editor' doesn't work on that - has to be a water plane so I hardly use it

I dont like the sharp edge between the water and the coast though...

They're infinite now.
They have new nodes that let you create materials in a new way..
The new terrain fractal node creates wonderful terrains.

Ah yes, I knew about the infinite terrains, but dont know anything about the new nodes. Always nice to have new nodes :D

Check the stock infinite terrains, most (if not all) of them use the new terrain fractal node.

I'm split between the new clouds and the faster rendering. I love all the new features.

Of all the features there is a combination of two that I like best... Infinite procedural terrain and dynamic population of ecosystems.
The make creating grand vistas quick and easy.
Throw in the new water and spectral atmospheres and I'm just a happy bunny.

I don't know because I can not justify buying it, even the upgrade is a months worth of bills
