Hi,
How can I make a prop (the ball in the magician's staff) light? I'm talking about a nice visible light, that make shadows)
I tried to use a spot light but that isn't even close to look like the ball is making the light.
I guess the answer is in the material room which only recently I've found the courage to play with, can someone advice? and if it's complicated settings, a screen shot of the settings is most appreciated.
Thanks

Hi shareone:
I think you can parent a light to the staff. Try Dr Geep studios he has many, many tutorials for Poser and is very likely to have the answer you need. Link: http://www.drgeep.com/

Try a light point and parent that to the staff after you have positioned it in the ball. Should work.

That will work, and you may also want to try making the material of the sphere a) somewhat transparent (so it won't block the light) and b) with an Ambient value above zero and some Ambient_color. Not 100% transparent, or it won't appear to glow, it'll just be invisible.
