Attached Link: Rock Sculpts

I tried to capture the natural angles and clefts you can see in rock with sculpting instead of just with materials. I think I made at least an approximation lol...They are .obj and can be used with any tools.

They were made with voxels in the alpha version of 3dCoat and then the high poly mesh (800-900,000) was taken to the Meshlab for refinement and decimation. The final poly count is 5000 polys with no loss of form and the mesh put through automatic cleaning and repair.

Another of those little tools that could.

These are free for any use and they take displacement quite well.

Render on,

M

Coolio, and thanx...I'll give em a whirl in TG2TP as well.. ...

Once in a while I look around,
I see a sound
and try to write it down
Sometimes they come out very soft
Tinkling light sound
The Sun comes up again

Thanks for the working link. I couldn't get an image to upload in that first post and then the site froze and the browser crashed.

Can't seem to edit the first post either.

I'll put a pic here...
