Full HD
Thanks to the combination of a Canon CMOS sensor and DIGIC 4 processing, Canon is able to offer Full HD resolution movie recording in a digital SLR camera. An HDMI connection provides the ability to play back movies directly on any HDTV in high quality HD resolution. Canon’s Full HD products feature the same maximum resolution available for HDTV’s (1920x1080 pixels), ensuring outstanding clarity. Full HD exceeds the quality found in HD ready (720) resolution devices.

This is a cool feature, but what's the point?
slap a Macro lens on..film an insect flying..
20fps
select the best frame

instant magic..

where is the skill???

Everything is converging into an ALL IN ONE device it seems.

People don't film video for hours anymore, just li'l snippets here and there... mostly for  YOUTUBIN'  (GUESS we all have short attention spans or (A.D.D.)  Grabbing frames from the video though would seem to be the way things are going.

Photographic SKILL?!?!   Looks like that may be heading for extinction.

Pretty impressive camera specs! These camera developers are finding more creative ways into my wallet than ever before.
