Does anybody know where I can get swimming poses for Poser 7 for V4.2?
Thank you,

I've never seen any swim poses for any character, now that you mention it.
I'm not saying they don't exist, but given that I more or less collect poses...
Now where's Schlabber*) when you need him?
And btw.. where IS Schlabber?!
*) Schlabber is THE master of poses.. for those who doesn't know. The BagginsBill of Poses I guess...

You just can't put the words "Poserites" and "happy" in the same sentence - didn't you know that? LaurieA
Using Poser since 2002. Currently at Version 11.1 - Win 10.

Now, I'm not sure, but I think there might be some swimming BVH files around somewhere, because I have a 139 frame animated swimming pose, and that's the only way I can think of that I got it.

Found some. In the 'BVH directories 113-128' zip are about 18 files for swimming. The only problem is it's a 94mb zip! If you click on the full motions list it will tell you what motions are included. Scroll down to Subject #125 and #126. I don't know how well they will work on V4 though, but I'm downloading them and will try them out.ladyperiwinkle posted Fri, 27 March 2009 at 5:43 PM
I downloaded the files but - I know nothing about BVH files and how to use them. Thank you for your help.

OK. Once you've unzipped them, load Poser and load your V4. Then, go to File->Import->BVH motion. A dialog box will then appear where you can browse to the unzipped files and select the one you want to load. Another dialog box will appear, this time with a choice of selections. Leave them at the default, which should be 'Scale automatically' and 'Along X-axis' and click ok. You may get a dialog box about no matching part(s), just click ok to ignore it/them. The BVH file should now have loaded, and your figure should have moved position to match the first frame of the bvh. Your V4 may have disappeared from view depending on where the bvh starts the anim, just scale the camera or zoom out until you can se your figure again. Then click on the play button on the animation palette at the bottom of the screen t view the anim. Hopefully it wont be too bad, some bvh files can literally tie the figures up in knots! :)
Hope that helps.

Mostdigitalcreations has a free swimming pool prop with swimming and diving pose for V4.
Best regards,
