My computer speakers have been broken for months and I just got around to buying new ones.
Disco Party at my house! The BeeGees are currently on the playlist, followed by KC and the Sunshine Band, Gloria Gaynor, Cool and the Gang, Donna Summer and loads more!
Don't forget your spandex!!

Nope. Manitoba. It's central Canada. I'm a bit less than 2 hours from the US border above North Dakota.

Break up your lockables, while you're at it. :-)
Sorry I couldn't make it in time. :-( It's for the best, really - you don't want to see me doing the Dad's Disco Dance - what speakers did you get?

Not even sure of the brand. They're cheapie ones. Regular $24.99 on sale for $19.99 at Grand and Toy stationary. For cheap speakers they have pretty good sound.
My other speakers were purchased with my first computer back in March 2000. Unfortunately my oldest cat pulled them down off the desk in her attempt to get onto the desk when I was ignoring her. Had it not been for that, I'd still be using those ones. But they but in and out now and even at full volume, the volume isn't very loud.

You really made me quite melancholic with this thread: I started to play music of the beegees, earth, wind and fire, Dooby Bross. I'm afraid I'm having a mid-life crisis right now! LOL.
Well have a good party! I would join if I was in the neighbourhood.
cheerio,
Bopper.

Wait! Wait! Is the party still going? I'm only a three day drive from you... well... if I drive through the night!
Ah well... next time. I've only been to Winnipeg once, when I was 10. Raised in Regina, now in BC. The Prairies are too cold! lol.
Enjoy the sound!

Well, it's kind of over because I"m back to work. But I get vacation in August and we have gorgeous summers here, so if you are down this way, send me a message. I can give you a tour of the city!
