Having a go at modelling a robot in bryce, actually this will be my third attempt, the first one was naff and the scond was far too complex and has now become unworkable(it was prettty naff too!) So far this ones going pretty good. Started with one sphere, added seven spheres set to negative or intersect and booleaned it to create a cool shape, then just resized/rotaded it for each different bit. Hopefully will add some more updates, but you never know this may become one of my very many "started then abandoned" projects:-) only time will tell!!!!!!

Wow dude!! that looks amazing! I looove the style!

I've taken the liberty of marking some things i'd fix if it was my own model. some of it is a little nitpicky but hey.. im a perfectionist ;-)
normally i wouldnt take this much effort to point out possible improvements, but.. i love where this is goin so far and i just couldnt help it!

Thanks man, taken on board!! Gonna get the basic shapes of everything down, then go over it and sort out all the little glitches.

Great start...I like the way the shoulders resemble an animal head...adds a touch of the 'non-machine' to  it.. ...

Once in a while I look around,
I see a sound
and try to write it down
Sometimes they come out very soft
Tinkling light sound
The Sun comes up again

I guess this robot-making is somewhat epidemic. Really cool start with this. Doesn´t resemble my previous robotmodel. Which is very exiting. Soon we´ll have an army of Bryce-bots, and the cyberworld will be ours to rule. Looking forward to see the rest of it.

You mean the scrap robot parts that take pictures inside of your garden and scrap robot spy sattelites that give a live feed of your planet on google earth for every earthling to see?

Done a bit more work on the head, played with textures for a while and that made me take in a slightly different direction. It looks pretty in pink but it means business🆒 Last update for a week, going on holiday tommorow (back home to england!) really should be in bed now actually but hey, its BRYCE!
