Source is from the Daz Bryce forum: http://forum.daz3d.com/viewtopic.php?p=1759611#1759611  Where we have been told that there is currently an active Bryce development going on, that is at the moment concentrating on the stability of Bryce 6. So bug fixes finally coming soon.
As for the future of new versions of Bryce, well, nothing about that yet. Anyway some good news at least... personaly it's what I've been waiting for.
