I am trying to make a scene where the figure is holding a box in front. I want a Volumetric light to appear that it is coming from the box. From what I understand, you need a prop in back of the light so that the volumetric light shows. I have tried making the cloth plane invisible, but then the light effect doesn't show up. Leaving the cloth plane solid show the effect but also shows the cloth plane. What am I doing wrong? i"ve attached a copy withe plane visible.
