i've heard that in the marketplace there is a dragon with similar characteristics to the ones you see in the movie Reign of fire, but i can't seem to find it, can someone please point me to it?

This one looks very familiar and it was available here at Rendo, but, for the life of me, I can't remember who is the vendor. Chances are that it may not be available anymore. This particular type of dragon is a wyvern, and you could find something similar to your post @ DAZ3D.
Edit: Half-Baked got it right. That's the one I was thinking about.
