As some of you know, I like shots that really capture the action, but when I caught this one yesterday even I was amazed! oh and seriously happy :)

Crowd line was really tight, lots of people and ropes on poles obstructing the view, but the light was perfect and even managed to impress a few canon owners :)

Sony a200, 1/500, F6.3, ISO 200, Focal length 280 (sigma 500)

Pinky - you left the lens cap of your mind on again.

That's great shot! Now, how do you do it? Where you in the first row of seats? :)

Whenever I go to events such as air shows, all of my shots have people's heads in the bottom of the frame. And worse, whenever I think I've got a great shot of an airplane, someone walks right front of me!

Heres another frozen moment -  taken today at the Royal Marines Museum in Pompey.  
Sony a200. F16. 1/250. ISO 200. Focal length 200 on a Sigma 70-300.

Ha - great shot! Yes, 1/500th will stop almost everything.

And the watermelon cowers in the corner - behave or... Well... You saw what she did to THAT!!
