Would it be possible to change the full size viewer background colour to a less intense shade here at Rendo ? Preferably black.
With LCD monitor displays being as bright as they are nowadays the pure white viewer creates glare that can reduce the contrast of the full size viewed image. An image viewed against a black backdrop stands out much better i think.

I have also put this in the suggestion box, and created a thread in the photography forum about this.

Regards.. Shaun.

If you use Firefox there is an addon available called ImageTweak that will do exactly what you want!

Hi.

I don't use Firefox for general internet use, but i'll definitely have a look at it and if its good use it for renderosity. Thanks.
Perhaps its something that could still be incorporated into the Renderosity viewer though.

Regards.

Hi Octaganoid.

Well, if you are going to try Firefox, also look for an addon called Thumbnail Expander 1.0. It's excellent for viewing Google images and images in forum posts here at rendo. You mouse over an image and it will expand it to full size!

You can tweak your own colors by adding CSS code in the "MyStyle" box in
your "MyGalleryOptions".
I did this once, with some help from replies in the CSS Forum of Rendorosity.
Not knowing anything about CSS, it took a few days to sort it out.

Unfortunately that doesn't help with the full image view pages, because although the stylesheet information is present, it isn't currently being used.

I'm awaiting a reply from the suggestion forum. It is being put to the programmers.
