**It will be 6am my time when the contest closes so I will open the voting when I get outa bed.
Voting**- Voting will take/continue for 3 days (in the Bryce Forum), unless otherwise noted and cease at 12 Midnight Renderosity Time on the Last Day of voting.
Any Renderosity member may vote, whether they have entered the Challenge or not.
Members cannot vote for themselves.
3-2-1 Voting System *
* View all entries before voting.
* Each voter will decide on 3 entries they personally like the best.
* Give 3 points to your most favorite. 2 points to your next, and 1 point to your final favorite.
* Again, voting will be done in the Bryce Forum, look for the "Vote Here" sticky thread. Votes should be posted like this;
MemberOne - 3 points
MemberTwo - 2 Points
MemberThree - 1 Point
* 3 pictures, 3 point votes, no more, no less. Anything different cannot be counted as point votes.
- After voting is completed, the votes will be tallied, and the Winners announced in the Bryce Forum.
The Winners will be given an award image they may use on their personal site, or however they see fit.
In the case of any ties, the members will share the placements.
The First Place Winner(s), will then choose the next months theme.
Good Luck to everyone and a huge thank you to all those who entered!!

Wait a minute - I thought the deadline was midnight? By my reckoning it's now 12:23 PM Renderosity time (CST). Isn't Rendo in Tennessee?

rashadcarter posted Sun, 31 May 2009 at 1:11 PM
I was going to vote a few hours ago but held off thinking more entries might still be accepted.
Yes, I too think there should still be some time. I think bobbyStar should still be allowed to enter, as well as any others so long as they are in no later than midnight.
I agree though that it is important to get the voting done as soon as possible, so as to avoid delaying the challenge start date for next month. I for one found it hard to keep to the deadline this month as I did not learn of the contest until a bit late, well into the month of May. Hopefully we can get a winner selected and a new theme within a few days to provide more time.
Thanks for the early votes btw!!!!!!!

Bobby, my apologies and to all you guys too. I been thinking all week that Saturday was the last day of the month. Of course the 31st is today. My bad.
Bobby, post your entry and I'll sort it out.
Keep voting though. If anyone wants to change their votes I'll organise that too.

C-Ram -Excellent realism overall, including detail and Bryce modeling. Excellent light and reflections. Your wisely chosen low saturation color palette adds greatly to the realism. Excellent posing, though not essential to this challenge, it is still a noteworhty job! 3pt
Orbital- Excellent application of light to tell the story of the scene! Fantastic Bryce modeling. Gorgoeus mood. Arresting energy. Powerful result. 2pt
Dan Whiteside- Simply brilliant implementation of IBL for an indoor situation! You never fail to inspire me. I would expect nothing less. Modeling and all other details are absolutely superb! 1pt
So much excellent work! I'm hardly content with the ordering of my choices, as I find myself extremely torn and my opinions seem to change based upon the whim of my mood. With the same enthusiasm I would love to have also acknowledged the craft demonstrated by Dhama, Wanda, vncnt9663, Grafikeer, Bobbystar, Quest, rj001, and others. All of the various genres represented here make voting with any confidence essentially impossible.
Thanks again to Lown for choosing this theme! You brought out alot of different ideas and exposed alot of potential for Bryce as a software!

If I may make a suggestion, those who have entered but have not voted should be sent an email to ask them to vote (incase they have missed the voting thread...
OR
They should be eliminated from the challenge.
I'm really pissed off that people who are willing to enter the challenge are not prepared to see it through and vote as well.
