Subject: Display question

Whenever I close Carrara 7 pro, my screen goes black for a second and then it takes about a minute while everything seems to reset on the screen.  I have a NVidia GeForce 8500 GT video card, OpenGL is set to be used in Carrara, and I have an LG LCD monitor.
Is this happening to anyone else?
Thanks!

What OS? In Vista the screen turn to black to back to the Aero display, but dont take to much time for this. Try to update your video drive first too.

I have C7pro, with Windows XP and an Nvidea card. I have found that if I close a scene and C7 soon after, it takes a full minute to close properly. I usually get a windows error message in the process.
If I close a scene, wait 10 seconds, and then close C7, it closes in just 10 seconds more.
I assume that the memory handling routines for the file and the program interfere with each other when closing.
