A former co-worker was an architectural student who used the pro-version of sketchup for her renders in 3-d apps...I'm wondering if anyone knows of a way or a patch to use the free version to save in a format available for use in vue 6, (obj. Lw. 3ds. shd.) sketchup saves in a .skp format. I have Hex which accepts/converts several formats, however .skp is not one of them. I'd appreciate any assstance anyone may have to offer, thanks

I haven't used it myself yet, but maybe regularfry's (shaxam.com) LWO exporter will work for you...MG
PS
I think it currently only works in SketchUp 6.

Doesn't the latest version[7] come with an obj exporter...I think it's right off on of the top menus..plugins dropdown.. ...
Once
in a while I look around,
I see
a sound
and
try to write it down
Sometimes
they come out very soft
Tinkling light sound

I think you will find that the obj exporter only comes with the expensive Pro version.

Somebody did a Ruby script for the free version.
