Thanks .If i place an animation on that page will I still be able to protect copyright of the animation?

Well, in all honesty, no matter where you post your work, you have to be your own copyright champion.  Once you put your work online, in any format, there's nothing keeping someone from either taking screenshots or downloading your video.  For example, in firefox, there are plugins you can get to download the video, in any format, currently playing in your browser.
In the end, the choice is yours.  Do you share it and risk someone downloading it and/or sharing it against your wishes?

Also, where you upload it has as much determination on your copyright being upheld.  YouTube is actually really good about pulling down material that it has found to be in violation, sometimes it just takes a little while if your stuff isn't as well known as, well, like a t.v. show. ;)

Happens everywhere... I was talking to a guy the other day who was having codec problems after a system re-install, so I was trying to help him so he could play a video file he was having trouble with. The conversation went like this:

**Me: **Where'd you get the video file? Maybe it'll play on my box.

**Him: ************ (Site name deleted, 'cause I don't wanna support 'em - CJ)

**Me: **(As I recognize the name of the site) Wait... what video is this?

**Him: **"The Dark Knight"

**Me: **What, a trailer?

**Him: **No, the whole movie. Took forever to download.

Me: ... Um, you do know that's illegal, right?

**Him: **It is?

**Me: **The movie came out, like ten months ago. It's still for sale in the stores. How could somebody give it to you for free, legally?

**Him: **I dunno, I figured if I could download it, it was okay.

sigh

He was disappointed that I wasn't able to help him with his codec problems, too.

Never download that stuff, 9 times out of ten youll pick up a bug, anyway apart from the fact its illegal, did you know that now in france europe they will cut off your internet conection permamanently if they catch you,no warning ,just OFF!!
Ill post my animatiom but sadly it will have a banner across the whole animation.
