I am so confused..
I am looking to get a lens hood for the canon 18-200mm lens
can someone help.. maybe link me to what you suggest at amazon?

Alice you could always make your own Hood.There is sites which give you instructions how to make your own lens Hood.

I dont actually buy lens hoods because they are overpticed for what they are IMHO, I use these and they are pretty good too http://www.lenshoods.co.uk/canon.php

If you go to the Canon web site and look at that lens, then click accesories, the lens hood they recomend is the EW78D.
