After upgrading to PPro I'm not able to convert hier-files for my obj-files... I've made several characters using Poser 4.03 but now - Poser Pro - it's not possible any longer... "cannot read valid valid wavefront format geom file curveurve" I tried to convert (test) some of my OLD files again (using the OLD hier files - they have been working fine in Poser 4.03) but this doesn't work too... Is there a new procedure for converting hier-files in PPro? Or is there a bug in the OBJ-import of PoserPro? I've made my props/obj in 3DSMax and this was working fine in Standard Poser 4.03...

I haven't had any problems with the PPP and converting Hierarcy Files. It must be the 3DSMax OBJ exporter the PPP doesn't like.

You might try loading and resaving the obj via UVMapper. I don't have PPP or 3DSMax, but UVMapper has fixed several weird OBJ files for me. regards- Lemurtek

I always load the obj files I export out of Max,into Poser, then I re-export them out using Poser's exporter, before I attempt to do anything at all with them. Since I began doing that, alot of the strange problems I had in the past in several areas, including converting heir files, has gone away. You might give that a try.
