May 2009 The Challenge was 'Action'

June 2009 'Weather' had far more "Action."

Now July 2009 Lets get LOTS of

RUBBISH here!

Excellent Idea, shame it's only three images per person, living in a dump like London, I could choke the servers :)

Yes, Mariane, to be posted in this forum.  Thanks for asking!

Here's a shot I just took this afternoon (just for you!) of my old hot water heater.  I've just had my bathroom remodeled, and this is the tail end of the rubbish from the work.  (That's the old toilet in the background.  Charming thing to have off to the side of the house, isn't it?)

English Starlings, yes, someone imported them to this country and they love it more than we love starlings...the starlings love the tubes and the old bank building. They raise a fine group of kids there each year.

This is a typical rubbish bin around here.  We call it "trash" or "garbage," as opposed to "rubbish," btw.  This is what is known as a dumpster.  The sign that says "trash only" means it's not a recycling bin.

I made sure I left in enough of the building and the car behind the dumpster in order to give you a sense of scale, for those of you not familiar with these bins.
