Anyway would this hash of an attempt, which did kinda work out better than my past attempts be of any use to any one????
It was an attempt at a Trek based console. Textures were done ok, but the mesh still has a few nasties in her.... It is not perfect, and does have a few buckles in the mesh.
If this is of use to anyone, then I will zip it up

Very cool sci-fi model!
I'm designing a bus stop for a university lesson and this shape could also be a futuristic vehicle stop, with a few changes

Very nice! I use Wings, too, and there is always something more to fix. HOWEVER, I'd say firmly, "STOP! You're through." That mesh looks great. Sometimes you have to say enough IS enough and just be done with it. It doesn't have to be perfect at a molecular level! The world itself isn't!
I have to make myself let it go, or I'd spend ALL my time modeling. It IS addicting, so only YOU can let it go, when you feel it's good enough. I'd vote for Good Enough.
