Got it and put it away due to RL and wondering if others have had luck with it or if it was just a flash in the pan.

My vote: flash in the pan.

Don't get me wrong - Pegasus seems to work well, but I find it hard to find enthusiasm for something when its creator apparently has none. My next learning curve will quite probably be Blender. If I'm going to take time to learn something, it may as well be something powerful and well-supported.

And I thought I was the only idiot to buy software, install it and forget it. Like you Bob I plan to get to grips with Blender, at least it is free, but somehow I feel it is going to be a retirement project after I have learnt to use Zbrush, Carrerra and DaZ Studio.

Should have known better considering who put it out. Well that's the last thing I buy from him.

Ironicly the "DC" on that merchants name is actually an acronym
for "Digital Criminal"

no joke

I have been using it for a while now. I use it for minor things like renaming materials and groups.  As a modeling application it is not worth the money but it is a good tool to have when you need to "minor" things with a model. I own several products by MarkDC and there are a few I will never rebuy if an upgrade comes available but there are a few I will buy with out hesitation.
