Here's my latest animation created in Poser and edited in Vegas Movie Studio. The characters are V4 and G2 Olivia.
Synopsis: A mother teaches her daughter a lesson in faith.

Constructive criticism is welcome.

Beautiful. Music, voices, story line, all excellent. The movements are a little
too "spliney" for my taste, but even Disney animations are often "spliney".
A long, long way from the usual NVIATWAS!

spliney? What do you mean...?
Out of curiosity, I researched about NVIATWAS and I was surprised to discover it in urban dictionary. I wonder who invented the term?

Renderosity forum reply notifications are wonky. If I read a follow-up in a thread, but I don't myself reply, then notifications no longer happen AT ALL on that thread. So if I seem to be ignoring a question, that's why. (Updated September 23, 2019)

"Spliney" means that some of the motions are too smooth and gradual.
Most commercial high-dollar animations have the same tendency.
It's sort of endemic to CGI. Real-life movements are usually more
"snappy" than spliney; we tend to hold still until it's time to do something,
and then we get the limb to the desired location quickly.
If you look at old-fashioned drawn animations, you'll see more snap
than spline.

Yeah, the figures are a little herky-jerky...but the message is beautiful.
NolosQuinn posted Fri, 10 July 2009 at 6:28 PM
Yeah, most of the jerkiness comes from the walk cycles. Still trying to get the hang of that.
Thanks for the comments,
Nolos.

I don't do animation so I'm not able to critic it. I'm also not a religious person per se, but I did find the message rather moving. Great job.
