Sorry, you're going to have to give us a bit more information, as in what are we looking at? Rock, water, ??
The purple could be reflected from somewhere else, or it could be part of a material, or a clipping issue, but without information about the scene, it's difficult to diagnose.

It looks like your satellite tv is getting poor reception, Probably the weather.

Check the post-render options, if lensglare is on, turn it off. Also try it without any other post-render effects. You may try rendering with "User Settings" with anti-aliasing set to "crisp".

I have experienced exactly the same problem, but never experimented with different render settings. I got rid of it by changing the Atmosphere. This is only a guess, but maybe I used an Atmosphere created in an earlier version of Vue, that is not compatible with Vue 7.4 Inf.
