well, it looks like those eyes and eye browse show just fine, or are those geometry? What I suspect is that you need to reapply or at kleast enable the alpha portion of the texture. I bet the eye lashes are done with very few polygons and details in alpha channel for transparency control. That said, it may not hurt to remap the textures, but it would be awfully tedious work and sad if really necessary all over the entire model.

No, you just have to select the eye-lashes and blend transparency in the editor if I remember correctly.

I found that it's easier to search using a normal sized Windows Explorer before going to this small box in the mat lab, but that's up to you.
After all that when you get back to the Mat Lab, then that's the time to start thinking about transparency and alpha's.
