HI,
I made a figure morph in poser, made a pmd, packaged it up right and its doing great... in poser. What steps to I need to make to have it work right in Daz?
do I need to make a moprh inj file (pz2) for it to work in Daz?
When i open the cr2, the morphs are not there.
I admit, this is the 1st time working in Daz (and would like to learn), but I got an email from someone who would like to buy my product but only works in Daz. Any and all help to troubleshoot or even just links to a tutorial would be much appreciated!
Thnx!

Easiest way is to turn off "Use Binary Morph Target" in Poser and save it all in the .cr2. It SHOULD work in D|S, however, although D|S may ask you to locate the .pmd file.

You should really take a look at the morph injection docs on the DAZ 3D site, there's a lot of details that can help you.
The skinny: you can inject a morph via a PZ2 if the original CR2 has a morph channel available or if you want to overwrite an existing morph channel.
Once you have your morph you can use this script http://forum.daz3d.com/viewtopic.php?p=649451#649451
to create the INJ/REM files.
If you have made your figure yourself and you want to include the morph to it simply save the file as a CR2 and it will work for both Poser and Studio.
If you develop under Studio you should use the Morphg Loader/Morph Loader Pro and then the Figure Setup Tool Bundle with the CR2 exporter. Those are great tools that make the job of creating Poser figures a lot simpler than what is in Poser.
Hope this helps

Quote - Easiest way is to turn off "Use Binary Morph Target" in Poser and save it all in the .cr2....
The thing is I am going to be selling this morph, you're not supposed to sell modified cr2s of character content you didn't make the original of, right? Then you wouldn't need the original, right?
2nd: The original figure has no morph dials originally for it's body parts. I'm going to go ahead and make the pz2 file ( its seems simple) and see what i get. i started up daz again and it wanted to search (and i wanted it to) for new content..... that was 45 minutes ago, still searching. Is this normal? i have approx 8000 files, but when it loaded the library the 1st time it took only 5-10minutes.
BTW: The figure I'm using is Near_me. I have made morphs for the whole body (most of it anyway) and facial morphs (about 10) and everything is peachy in poser. I'll make the pz2 and get back to you.
BUt i can't do a cr2 cause im going to distribute.

Bahh, i just realized what you meant about the cr2.... it will still point to the original GEO.... I get it now. I'll try that.
The 1st time I made a figure I did it wrong and had it point to a new piece of geometry and I thought, "That was easy, wheres my morph dials though?" Turns out its TOO easy to make a modified figure to package and resell if you don't care about the cr2 file. Then I did more research and found out thats a big no no, and thats what I still had in my head when i made the quote,
my bad. I'll try the cr2 method, Thank you!!

Ok, the cr2 method worked just fine!
New question, and maybe its a stupid one..... where are the morph dials??
"pret-a-3d: You should really take a look at the morph injection docs on the DAZ 3D site"
I couldn't find morph inj for daz studio........... could you post-a-link? Like I said, I'm DAZ NOOBIEEE.
Thanks for getting me this far though. The only issue is if I'm not able to dail down some of the body, then a few clothing items i made wont fit right. Let me know!

Bahh, I got it..... im so new, i didnt know about changing the layout style, I've got the parameters tab now. I never even played with daz before, it's looking tempting, hhhhmmmmm......
Thanks for the help guys. i think I can repackage my product and now say it works in DAZ!!

I still need help making a full body morph injection file though. i read a tutorial and it looks straight forward. I dunno, with the morphs (even a full body) in the cr2, would it be ness. to do a inj pose file?
I guess for v4 and a3 it is cause there are so many, you want be able to stack them all up if you wanted to....
what do you think, inj pose a nessescity?
