Hi. I'm new to Daz Studio 3 Pro. I did something (god knows what) and all my installed content (V4. A4, H4, M4) among others items vanished. The content is still on the computer, but program can't seem to see it. Do I need to reinstall all my content, or is there some way to force the program to search for DS Content? I tried adding it as an additional directory but nothing happened.
All help is appreciated.

On the Content tab, click on the little triangle in the upper right corner and switch to one of the Folder views. If your content shows up under Folder view, then it should show up in Category view after a Search for Content. If it doesn't, you need to go into Edit >Preferences>Directories and look at what's listed for "D|S-format content folders" and "Poser-format content folders."

Did you change your Preferences Directory pointer. Go to the 'Edit' tab, select 'Preferences' then click on the 'Directories' tab in the window. Listed are the directories your program is looking at, if there is none there, click on 'Add' and add each 'Contents' to the list.
Otherwise do a 'Search for Content'...

To be honest ,I am used to Poser's runtime management.DAZ-Studio's folder system still apears very cryptic to me.Not only that I don't get it,I think it doesn't make much sense.I expect to see the same folder hirachie in the app, as I see in my windows explorer but this has changed with release 2.xxx .

Click on the little triangle in the upper right corner of the Content tab and choose one of the Folder views to get the old view.

Thank you very much for all the responses. I did a search for content and found everything and then some.
Sincerely,
