Hi guys.

In about 5 days i start making my movie. I"ve finally done all the research  that i needed. 

I made this File with illustrations and text explaining all the things i need to do and ways i've figured out how to do or things that you guys have helped me how to do. 

Here are some of the topics.. I have 114 topics in my file

-How to do Camera switching
-How to do Underwater scenes
-Crowd Groups and Crowd Group walk animations and how to save the characters to the libraries as pairs.
-How to do Destruction in Poser
-Making crowds in Vue and how to layer them in front or in back of Main characters using FinalCut
-How to do Earthquake motion in camera by using the script called PeriodicMotion
-How to do Explosions, rain, smoke, fog using Stock footage and layering in Finalcut.
etc etc

It took me a while to find solutions to all the questions i had.
The script is also ready, i already revised it a few times.

So, pretty much after I'm almost ready to begin animating. But it's a pretty big project and i'm not a great animator, it's kind of discouraging.. I want to make it look good. 

Definitely i'm much more knowdleable about how to animate in Poser NOW compared to when i did my first movie. 

I always feel like i want to finish everything in one day but that's stupid. How long do you guys spend a day on working on your projects? Do you spend the whole day, or 1 hour a day?

I'll do a comparison between the kind of things i did in my first movie as opposed to what i'll do now. 

1. 2003 movie
-Background pictures mapped on flattened and elongated cubes. 
-Movie made all in POser and IMovie( mac) for editing and composing, used Mimic 2 but Mimic on Poser 5 characters looked so crappy cause mimic is designed more to work better on DAZ figures.
-Sound..: Total mess!!! Some sounds were louder than others and whenever we watched the movie, i would have to be ready with remote on hand, ready to turn down the volume at certain points
-Done in Poser 5, and in Preview mode but Poser 5 preview mode was worse than Poser 6's preview mode
-Used BVH but i never modified BVH,, and the BVH i used were jittery and i did not know how to connect them or fix them
-Cheap sound effects
-Music was MIDI converted to Garageband mp3, it was ok..
-Tons of unrealistic BAD animations done by hand
-I didn't have a good collectin of clothing
-characters faces all done with photos in the faceroom. Looked pretty bad cause i didn't have good photos
-I was rushing it so, in some parts , i didn't even create animation. It was just a static picture with voice acting. That was a stupid thing.
-Never had Houses, Buildings, or any good car models
 
2. Movie I will do in 2009 soon

-The background will be pictures of an actual Poser environnment with a real Sky photo.
Will make many takes from various different angles. 

--Movie made all in POser and FinalCut Express  for editing and composing, and Apple's Soundtrack for further audio editing. Will also use Mimic 3.0. Mimic used on DAZ and Poser 6 characters. and some animal cute characters.

-I have about 30 different characters that will appear in my movie. they all look different and they have different clothes. I have main characters, realistic beautiful female characters, strong dudes, teachers, bad guys, Giant Robots, weird creatures,etc. 

My last movie there was only about 8 characters total and they all looked the same.

-Story takes place in House, Forest, Beach, Downtown city area, freeway area when driving. Tons of varied environments.

-Have tons of BVH i will use for special moves. Also, i made realistic walk loops from BVH parts. Super awesome Sexy walk for Female characters and awesome runs for action animations. 
Have also ofigured out how to modify and combine BVH's. 

-Awesome collecton of sound effects i have collected. Plus Sound Effects like rain, and wind will be provided  by Garageband sound effects, that i can connect and mix

-Music will be Cinematic full stereo quality quality music i got from various places and the radio too.

-I have researched about animation and have asked questions here so i'm ready to tackle any type of animation. i also h ave a book about Animation principles. I'm sure i can make it way better than in my last movie

-Much better voice acting cause I'm doing alot of it myself and i know how it's supposed to sound...unlike my sisters and parents who were shy and it sounded like they were reading : ). Plus i'm getting some help from some online friends who'll participate.

-Large Collection of clothing i have now thanks to downloading and buying from renderosity AND also converting with Wardrobe wizard 1 and 2.

-Characters faces WILL be 3D characters' original faces with textures . I will not use photos in the face room

-I will take my time, won't rush it

-I've made a ton of Environments using Great House/Bulding models that i've bought or downloaded for free. 

-I've studied more about Lighting and have made interesting Ligh sets that look good.

-I will make background stuff and Crowds, using Vue's ecosystem

-Realism by using effects by compositing in Final cut: 
Explosions, Fire, Smoke, Tears falling from character's eyes, rain, fog
