We design multimedia stories, predominantly for kids and publish them on CD. In the process, I make use of Poser 5, PaintShop pro 8 and Authorware as well as flash.
Many of the stories are about the time of Christ on earth. Clothing is the problem. In the more modern stories, I also need props and a pick-up truck, for instance, is nowhere to be found.
In Daz and other programs one sees models created by other people. If I could do that, it would solve many of my problems. I tried to master Blender, but that doesn't seem to be the answer.
So, please tell me: What do designers use to create conforming clothing, props and the like?
UV Mapper is hopeless because tutorials do not take a dumb person like myself from the very beginning, so I could not try that either.
Any advice? I need to make conforming clothing, props and so on.
Many thanks
Johan
