Sorry my work is getting a little redundant.  I only have limited resources and they don't give me enough options to play around and really make something nice.  But I'll what I can.

Not everyone has expensive cameras or software or the time and skills needed to create dramatic works of art. Photograph what you are interested in and try to think of different ways of showing it, or different perspectives. Everything will improve with time and effort. We will continue to watch and comment, so enjoy yourself!

My closest Photography companion once asked me why I kept shooting the same thing over and over. I told him that each time I went back and did it again, I put something different into it - a different angle, a different lighting, a different setting to try. Each time I tried to improve on what I had previously done. That's what it's all about. It's how we learn to bring out the best in ourselves and our cameras.

I actually looked at your gallery the other day. Its not bad. Maybe you just have to challenge  yourself? Go outside what you feel comfortable with? Look through the galleries here and get inspired! There is everything under the sun here.

Best of luck and study to you in your work.

Thanks. I keep trying and looking at things I'd like to do...much of it is not possible with my equipment but I know there is a lot more I can do with what I've got... I'll figure it out because I won't stop until ... well, I'll just keep studying on it. :-)

Although you say redundant.... you may be mistaking your style for redundancy!  Don't be afraid to continue on using the tools you have and getting the looks your getting. These are the things that make you the artist you are!

Hello!
I just got home from a trip but would like to add a few things to this thread if it's ok.

#1  On the first day of class one of my photo professors said (regarding photos).  "Show me something I haven't seen."  That can be taken so many ways whether it is a different subject or a diff. angle.  Totally up to you as the artist.  :-)

#2  Regarding developing your style, a professional/retired photographer told me,  "Shoot what is remarkable to YOU."

#3  I say:  Remember -  you are your own worst critic but if you like it - is IS worth shooting.

Thanks,

Jodie

I kid-proofed my house but they STILL get in!!
