I agree. They should have broken the download up in 500 mb chunks. I managed to get mine in the second attempt but it still took 10 hours on a good fast cable connection.
The good part is there's a lot of really NICE goodies in it ^_^

You just can't put the words "Poserites" and "happy" in the same sentence - didn't you know that? LaurieA
Using Poser since 2002. Currently at Version 11.1 - Win 10.
yeah 10 hours and i finally got content zip its after midnite here down under in oz and I'm just starting to play with it now (there goes my attempt at curing my insomnia-red bull for breakfast!)
just added my previous runtimes and loaded up my best v4 character set render options same as my p7 that give me the best time/quality ratio and then set the new "indirect lighting" box to 2
the "pre calculating indirect light" seems to take a while then the main render just powers on.
so far i like it-i undocked al the interface controls and put them where they used to be just to keep a little continuity in my workflow the new bangs and whistles seem to be in this new render option and the library layout-kudos to smithmicro for poser 8![ dont mean to knock daz but i have never been tempted by daz studio- i dont want to learn a new app from the ground up
after using poser since early version 4]
All the best to you all!

Are the poser 8 lighting options in the content? Saw some things on the website that I don't see in Poser 8 so figure they must be, or else I'm looking in the wrong place.
