And how can I fix it?

I have gotten this a few times over the last few years, but I dont know how to fix it. It doesnt happen alot, but still, I don't know why it happens.

Thanks

And here is a screenshot of it UNrendered

It seems to be connected to her right toe because if I select her right tow, then make it invisible, it goes away but f course the whole front of her foot disapears with it.LOL

I know I can close Poser and then reopen it and start all over, but I was hoping to save her so I wont have to recreate her.LOL

Hide her toe then save her, you can always switch her toe back on when you reopen..Hi by the way...lol

Try saving the scene then do a full reboot and reload.

Hi Deni and Hi Phil and thank you both.

Phil, when you say reboot, do you mean close poser then open it back up, or close poser then reboot my computer?

I will save her first of course.

PhilC posted Mon, 10 August 2009 at 6:42 AM

Yes save then do a total power down.
Wait 30 seconds then start up again.

I dont know if it makes a difference, but I had forgotten to turn the IK off on borh legs, but this didnt happen untell I changed her pose for about the 3rd or 4th time.

GrandmaPaula posted Mon, 10 August 2009 at 6:43 AM

Okay Phil, will try that. Thanks

GrandmaPaula posted Mon, 10 August 2009 at 6:58 AM

It worked, yay! Thank you both.

There ya go.

I suspect that like me Poser's memory gets less and less the longer it is awake. A Neutral Activity Period (NAP) usually fixes it :)

deni67 posted Mon, 10 August 2009 at 7:37 AM

Fixes me too..lol

I think your suspicions may be right PhilC. I've noticed that very thing ;o).

Shouldn't that be a Non Activity Period?

Either way, I LOVE that one! ^_^

You just can't put the words "Poserites" and "happy" in the same sentence - didn't you know that? LaurieA
Using Poser since 2002. Currently at Version 11.1 - Win 10.

GrandmaPaula posted Mon, 10 August 2009 at 6:22 PM

I could use a Non Activity period (NAP) LOL

Thanks again everyone....

I have had this problem too. I have noticed that no reboot has been able to solve the problem. The beard on this figure just won't reset. I think there is some sort of geometry issue causing the Y scale setting to multiply itself. Any Ideas...

Just kidding Phil, the beard looks cool. When I try to grow mine out, it grows "out" instead of down. Yours is probably the best long beard I have seen in ages.

Nice crumb catcher too!

I've always wished I could grow a zz-top beard.
