Photography F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2024 Nov 26 6:56 am)
Well I'm kicking this bot in the pants for not sending along the reminder to come look at what y'all have done in here lately.
So many talents aside from the photography (and yes I'm even including your beverage mixing abilities, Tara :tongue2: )
I'll have to get busy on my third submission, have the idea, just have to do the follow through with the shutter button.

Yep, this is the same object. I do the layout of Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs) for our company.
The engineers do the design on paper, which I then convert to a schematic diagram just visible in the top right of the image.
This is then used to do the layout of copper (actually the etching away of copper) visible in the screen on the top left.
The electronic files then go off to a manufacturer who does the etching of the copper coated fibre boards, bottom left and in the centre under the magnifying glass. Voila, electronic forms to material form!
I took this about an hour ago, before heading home for the day.
Cheers,
Clive
Nice job, Clive! I work for an electronics manufacturing firm as well, and this is verrrrrry familiar to me! I knew I'd been there too long when one day I was reading an article in the National Geographic about too many PCBs in the water, and how dangerous that was. I'm thinking ... ??? ... WTF? All of a sudden I realized they were NOT talking about the item pictured above! LOL!

Actually, I had to put the food bowl there to get my shot and fortunately, nosey Cleo came along and put her head in the bowl just as I was framing the shot of Raven in the box. So it made my end product a bit better than planned.
Normally they eat in the kitchen a ways away from the utility room.

Fantastic work, Martin! Wow. I love your watercolors, and this is a great way to demonstrate this month's challenge. Nice!
