It's only happening to a few products that I've installed. Is there a solution to this? It's not the end of the world since my products are still usable, but it would be nice to have differentiated icons in my runtime.
Thanks

That part was left out when they rewrote the code for p8.
it is in the readme file
you'll have to get a third party program or use an older version of poser to convert them.

The free version of P3DO explorer will do it.

You just can't put the words "Poserites" and "happy" in the same sentence - didn't you know that? LaurieA

Dizzi has a simple RSR convertor at the link. It will work on your entire library if you want, since it only converts RSRs which don't have a corresponding PNG. I'm still on Poser 6, but I ran it to simplify my library folders - many items had both types of thumbnail. I was able to delete all the RSR files in my libraries afterwards.TrekkieGrrrl posted Fri, 04 September 2009 at 7:33 AM
Neat. Thanks, EnglishBob :) After getting P8 I realised just HOW many folders I had with only rsr's :)

If you had a previous version of Poser starting with 5 ending with Poser Pro you could have just browsed to said libraries with those older versions and they would have converted the RSR's for you automatically.
